Thanks to the optimal combustion module, the diesel particulate filter can be used even at extremely low exhaust temperatures. Irrespective of external sources of energy, the combustion module automatically detects the load condition of the particulate filter.
As soon as a preset threshold value is reached, it generates a cold flame which increases the inflowing exhaust temperature to the necessary regeneration temperature. This happens automatically during vehicle operation and without external energy supply.
The DPF BA-F systems cover an application range of 5 to 550kW and can, in case of higher capacity, be used in combination as well.
